Equipment Supply

Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Supplier in Manila and Nationwide Philippines

Pumps, steam systems, and piping on the mechanical side; VFD, star-delta, SDE, and MCC panels on the electrical side. One purchase order, one warranty contact, quote in 1 business day.

What a Combined Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Supplier Handles

Most Metro Manila projects split the equipment package across two or three vendors: one for the pumps, one for the panels, and one for the piping and fittings that tie them together. That split is where schedules break. JOHOB Hardware Trading supplies both sides of the package from one purchase order.

The pump arrives with a 5.5 kW motor, the panel was quoted for 4 kW, and the contractor loses three weeks reconciling the two. That is the failure mode a combined mechanical and electrical equipment supplier removes. On the mechanical side our scope means booster, transfer, and submersible pumping systems, steam and boiler systems including hot water and condensate return, piping with stainless steel flexible hose and ball or gate valves, and material handling equipment such as self-propelled and hydraulic scissor lifts. On the electrical side it means the control panels those machines need: VFD panels, star-delta starters, soft start (SDE) panels, and motor control centres. We are an equipment supplier and trading company, not a construction contractor. We source from Philippine and China factories, deliver to your site, and carry local warranty and after-sales support so that a failed contactor or a drive fault is a phone call to a Philippine number, not a warranty claim filed overseas. For buyers writing a mechanical and electrical equipment scope for a Manila building or plant, that single-source structure removes the interface risk between the rotating equipment and the switchgear that drives it.

Mechanical Equipment: Pumping, Pressure, Steam, and Piping

Our mechanical scope starts with commercial booster and transfer pumping systems. We supply booster sets, transfer pumps, and submersible pumps, including vertical multistage units, and we pair them with hydropneumatic pressure tanks and a VFD duplex control panel for duplex booster sets so the set arrives as one commissioned assembly rather than a box of parts. Pump brands we source include Grundfos, DAB, and Speroni among the established European names, plus CDL for Chinese engineered vertical multistage pumps where the duty point is standard and the budget is tighter. Industrial steam and boiler systems cover steam boilers, hot water generation, and condensate return, along with the steam traps, pressure reducing stations, and heat exchangers that make a steam loop work. Stainless steel flexible hose, valves and fittings round out the package: flexible hose for vibration isolation at pump and boiler connections, and ball and gate valves for isolation and throttling. We also supply self-propelled and hydraulic scissor lifts, which is where facility teams in Manila most often need a machine that carries recognised safety marking rather than an unbadged import. Water storage is handled through our sister brand TankSmith, which supplies FRP, GRP, hot dip galvanised, and stainless steel modular tanks. We do not manufacture the tanks ourselves. They come from partner OEM factories, and we deliver and install them under the TankSmith name; the Metro Manila picture is on our page for industrial water tanks across Metro Manila.

Electrical Equipment: VFD, Star-Delta, Soft Start, and MCC Panels

The electrical half of a mechanical and electrical equipment package is almost always motor control. We supply variable frequency drive panels, star-delta starter panels, soft start (SDE) panels, and motor control centres through our page on MCC panel fabrication in the Philippines, built with Chutian panel assemblies using Inovance VFDs. A VFD panel on a booster set is not a luxury item in a Manila high-rise. Fixed-speed booster pumps cycling against a pressure switch will hammer the riser and burn contactors; a drive holding constant discharge pressure across a varying demand curve removes both problems and cuts the energy draw during the long overnight low-flow period. For duplex and triplex sets we supply VFD duplex control panels with alternation so the lead pump rotates and the duty hours stay balanced across the set. Where the panel sits outdoors, on a roof deck plant area or beside a ground tank, we supply an IP55 outdoor VFD panel rather than a stock indoor cabinet with a rain hood bolted on. Motor control centres are quoted against your single line diagram and starter schedule. Send us the motor list with kW ratings, starting method per motor, and the incoming supply characteristics, and we will come back with a panel schedule and a price. Electrical panels and material handling equipment we supply carry CE marking, and manufacturer quality systems are ISO 9001 certified.

Certifications on the Equipment We Supply

Procurement in the Philippines increasingly asks for documentation before it asks for price, particularly on institutional and locator projects where the equipment has to survive a third party audit. We are clear about what the certifications attach to: they belong to the equipment and to the manufacturers we source from, not to us as a trading company. Electrical panels and material handling equipment carry CE marking. Manufacturer quality management systems are ISO 9001 certified. Equipment in our range has been TUV SUD tested. Pressure vessels carry ASME certification where applicable to the item. Scissor lifts we supply are covered by IPAF standards. On the water storage side, the modular tank panels supplied through TankSmith are WRAS certified, which is the relevant standard when the stored water is potable rather than fire reserve or process. We are not a PCAB accredited contractor and we do not claim to be. If your project requires a PCAB licensed contractor for the installation works, we supply the equipment package and your appointed contractor performs the licensed scope. Ask for the certificate pack with your RFQ and we will forward the manufacturer documents that apply to the specific models quoted, rather than a generic company brochure. That distinction matters when a compliance officer is checking whether the certificate names the model on your purchase order.

Coverage Across NCR, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the Economic Zones

We deliver nationwide. That includes the full National Capital Region, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and it specifically includes the economic zones: PEZA registered facilities, SBMA locators in Subic, and Clark. Zone delivery is a different commercial exercise from a Metro Manila drop, and the difference is tax treatment. Standard sales to VAT registered buyers carry 12 percent VAT. Sales to PEZA and SBMA locators and to exporters are zero-VAT; the documentation flow is on our page for equipment supply for SBMA and PEZA locators. Tell us your registration status when you send the RFQ and the quotation will be issued with the correct tax treatment from the start, which avoids the reissue cycle that eats a week when the first quotation lands with the wrong VAT line. For Metro Manila projects specifically, we have pages covering commercial pump supply in BGC and Taguig, VFD panel installation in Makati, and condominium booster pump replacement in Manila, because the constraints differ by building type. A 40 storey residential tower has a zoned pressure problem that a low rise commercial building does not. Outside NCR we serve Pampanga and Clark, and we quote Visayas and Mindanao deliveries with freight built into the landed price rather than as an open item, so the number on the quotation is the number you budget against.

Lead Times, Pricing, and How to Send an RFQ

Pricing is quote based. Like any mechanical and electrical equipment supplier quoting real specifications, we do not publish prices, because the same nominal duty point produces very different numbers depending on the pump brand, the drive, the enclosure rating, and the freight leg. Two lead time bands cover most of what we supply. Ex-stock and standard configuration items ship in 21 to 35 days. Made-to-order equipment, which includes custom motor control centres, non-standard panel schedules, and built-to-spec assemblies, runs 45 to 90 days. Build those bands into your programme rather than assuming a two week turnaround, and if your date is tighter than the band, say so in the RFQ so we can tell you honestly whether it is achievable instead of discovering it at week six. We respond to RFQs within one business day. To get a firm quotation rather than a budgetary range, send us the following: the duty point (flow in litres per second or cubic metres per hour, and head in metres) for pumping scope; the motor list with kW ratings and preferred starting method for panel scope; steam demand in kilograms per hour and working pressure for boiler scope; the delivery address and site access constraints; and your VAT registration or PEZA or SBMA locator status. With that set we can quote specifics. Without it, we can only bracket.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Do you supply both the mechanical equipment and the electrical panels, or only one?

Both, from one purchase order. The mechanical side covers pumping and pressure systems, steam and boiler systems, piping and fittings, and material handling equipment such as scissor lifts. The electrical side covers VFD panels, star-delta starters, soft start (SDE) panels, and motor control centres. Supplying both from one vendor removes the interface risk where a pump motor rating and a panel rating are specified by two different suppliers and do not match on site. We are an equipment supplier, not a construction contractor, so the licensed installation works stay with your appointed contractor.

2

What are your lead times for mechanical and electrical equipment delivered to Metro Manila?

Two bands cover most orders. Ex-stock and standard configuration items ship in 21 to 35 days. Made-to-order equipment, including custom motor control centres, non-standard panel schedules, and built-to-spec assemblies, runs 45 to 90 days. Metro Manila delivery does not shorten the manufacturing lead time; it only shortens the final freight leg compared to a Visayas or Mindanao destination. If your programme date falls inside the band, tell us in the RFQ and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit, rather than discovering the gap partway through fabrication.

3

How is VAT handled if we are a PEZA or SBMA registered locator?

Sales to PEZA and SBMA locators and to exporters are zero-VAT. Sales to VAT registered buyers outside the zones carry 12 percent VAT. Declare your registration status when you send the RFQ so the quotation is issued with the correct tax treatment on the first pass. Getting this wrong means a reissued quotation and, in most procurement systems, a restarted approval cycle. We deliver to PEZA registered facilities, SBMA locators in Subic, and Clark, alongside the rest of NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

4

Which pump and panel manufacturers do you source from?

For pumps we source Grundfos, DAB, and Speroni among the established brands, and CDL for Chinese engineered vertical multistage pumps where the duty point is standard and the budget is a constraint. Control panels come from Chutian using Inovance variable frequency drives. Modular water tanks, supplied through our sister brand TankSmith, come from partner OEM factories. We source from Philippine and China factories and deliver with local warranty and after-sales support, so a drive fault or a failed contactor is handled in the Philippines rather than through an overseas claim.

5

Are you PCAB licensed, and can you install the equipment you supply?

We are not PCAB accredited and we do not claim to be. We supply the equipment package. Where your project requires a PCAB licensed contractor for the installation works, your appointed contractor performs that scope and we supply, deliver, and support the equipment. The exception is modular water tanks, which our sister brand TankSmith supplies as a turnkey install. Being explicit about this matters at prequalification stage, because a supplier that overstates its accreditation creates a compliance problem for the buyer later in the project.

6

What information do you need to give us a firm quotation?

For pumping scope, the duty point: flow in litres per second or cubic metres per hour, and head in metres. For panel scope, the motor list with kW ratings, preferred starting method per motor, and the incoming supply characteristics. For boiler scope, steam demand in kilograms per hour and working pressure. In all cases, the delivery address with any site access constraints, and your VAT registration or PEZA or SBMA locator status. We respond to RFQs within one business day. With that information we quote specifics; without it we can only give a budgetary bracket.
