Steam Pressure Reducing Station
Packaged PRV skids that step boiler pressure down to process utilization pressure. Includes pilot-operated PRV, strainer, safety valve, gauges, and isolation valves.

Overview
Boilers typically generate steam at 10–15 bar for efficiency and distribution, but most utilization points — ironers, sterilizers, calorifiers, kitchen equipment — need steam at 3–7 bar. A Pressure Reducing Station (PRS) is the packaged skid that safely steps the pressure down, delivering steady low-pressure steam to process equipment regardless of upstream fluctuations. Our standard skid includes a pilot-operated pressure reducing valve (PRV) for tight control across load variations, an upstream Y-strainer to protect the PRV seat, a downstream safety relief valve sized for full PRV failure (per ASME), pressure gauges before and after, and manual isolation valves for maintenance. Pre-fabricated, factory-tested, and ready to drop into your steam line.
