Shell and tube steam-to-water heat exchanger (calorifier)

Steam-to-Water Heat Exchanger (Shell & Tube Calorifier)

Shell-and-tube heat exchangers that transfer heat from steam to water for hot-water generation, process heating, and HVAC. Primary hot-water source for laundry and hospital facilities.

Overview

Shell-and-tube steam-to-water heat exchangers (also called steam calorifiers) are the primary hot-water generation method for commercial laundry, hotel, and hospital operations that already run a steam boiler. Steam flows through the tube bundle while water circulates on the shell side (or vice versa), delivering continuous hot water at controlled temperature — typically 60°C to 90°C. Compared to electric or direct-fired water heaters, steam calorifiers are dramatically more efficient when boiler steam is already available for process use. Our units come in U-tube, floating-head, and fixed-tubesheet configurations with SS316L tubes for durability against chlorinated water. Sized from 50 kW to 5,000 kW thermal output, fully documented with performance curves and TEMA compliance.
