Ventilation Supplier Philippines: Roof Ventilators, Cooling Towers, and Fan Control Panels

Wind-driven roof ventilators, evaporative cooling towers, AHUs, chillers, and the VFD control panels that run them, supplied nationwide with local warranty and after-sales support.

What ventilation equipment JOHOB supplies in the Philippines

JOHOB Hardware Trading is a ventilation supplier Philippines commercial, industrial, and institutional buyers use for wind-driven roof ventilators in 500mm, 600mm, and 750mm throat sizes, evaporative cooling towers in crossflow FRP and counterflow configurations, air handling units, and industrial chillers.

Around those units we supply the balance of system that ventilation and cooling projects actually need: chilled water pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, VFD control panels, stainless steel braided flexible hoses, and water treatment for cooling loops. We source from Philippine and China factories, then deliver with local warranty and after-sales support, so when a motor or bearing needs replacing you are dealing with a supplier in-country rather than chasing a factory overseas. Pricing is quote-based, because throat size, static pressure, motor rating, and material spec all move the number. Send the building volume, roof pitch, heat load, and any process exhaust requirement, and we respond to your RFQ within 1 business day. We supply equipment and coordinate delivery. Installation contracting is arranged with your own contractor or mechanical consultant, and we size and specify to whatever their drawings call for. The full range lives in our commercial HVAC and ventilation equipment category, with tower specifications on the industrial cooling towers product page and a dedicated industrial cooling tower supplier Philippines page for process cooling duties.

When a wind-driven roof ventilator is the right choice

Wind-driven roof ventilators move air using stack effect and prevailing wind, with no motor and no electrical load. That makes them the cheapest ongoing option for warehouses, production halls, covered courts, and poultry or livestock structures where you need continuous heat and moisture removal but the space is not conditioned. Because there is nothing to wire, there is no panel, no starter, and no monthly power cost attached to the unit. The tradeoff is that output depends on wind and on the temperature difference between inside and outside, so a wind-driven unit is not the right answer where you need a guaranteed extraction rate at a fixed time of day, where you are extracting contaminated or corrosive air, or where a fire and smoke code requirement dictates powered extraction. In those cases you want powered exhaust with a motor and a control panel, and we supply that side too. To specify correctly we ask for floor area, average ceiling height, roof pitch, the internal heat load in kilowatts if you have it, and your target air changes per hour. If you do not know your target air change rate, tell us the process running in the space and we will work from that. Throat sizes we stock are 500mm, 600mm, and 750mm.

Fan motor control: VFD, star-delta, and MCC panels

Most ventilation projects fail on the electrical side rather than the mechanical side. A correctly sized fan on a badly built panel still trips, still draws inrush that upsets the rest of the board, and still runs at full speed when half speed would do. JOHOB supplies the control panels alongside the equipment: VFD panels, soft-start and direct-on-line arrangements, star-delta starters, and full electrical controls and motor control centres. Our panels are built by Chutian using Inovance variable frequency drives, and the electrical scope we supply carries CE marking. Running an exhaust or supply fan on a VFD rather than a fixed-speed starter lets you trim the fan to the actual load, ramp it instead of slamming it, and interlock it with temperature or CO sensors rather than a wall switch. The economics are covered in our VFD versus fixed speed selection guide. If you already have a booster pump set or a chilled water system on site, we build the ventilation panel to sit alongside it on the same control philosophy rather than as an orphan enclosure, because we supply both sides. Send your single line diagram and motor schedule with your RFQ and we will quote the panel and the fan together.

Facility types we equip: laundry, hotel, hospital, food, and PEZA locators

Ventilation specification changes completely depending on what is running underneath it. Commercial laundries need high-rate heat and moisture extraction over dryers and flatwork ironers, usually integrated with the steam and hot water system already on site. Hotel and hospitality facilities need lobby, kitchen, and back-of-house exhaust that runs quietly and does not push conditioned air out of the building. Hospital and healthcare facilities have pressure relationship requirements between clean and dirty zones that dictate both supply and exhaust, not just extraction. Food and beverage processing plants need washdown-tolerant materials and separation between process exhaust and general building air. SBMA and PEZA locators have the added question of import treatment and VAT, which we cover further down this page. We write our technical guides against Philippine plumbing and building code, NSPC and NBC, rather than a generic international standard, because that is what your local reviewing authority will hold you to. Coverage is nationwide: NCR, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the PEZA, SBMA, and Clark economic zones.

Lead times, VAT treatment, and how RFQ pricing works

Like any ventilation supplier serving project buyers across the Philippines, we quote rather than publish prices, because ventilation equipment is specified per building and a list price would be wrong for almost every buyer who read it. What we commit to publicly is the timeline and the tax treatment. Standard lead time is 21 to 35 days for ex-stock items and 45 to 90 days for made-to-order units, measured from confirmed order. Made-to-order applies where throat size, motor rating, material, or coating is outside what we hold. We respond to RFQs within 1 business day, which in practice means you know whether an item is ex-stock or made-to-order before you have to commit to a construction schedule. On tax: 12% VAT applies to VAT-registered buyers in the normal case. Zero-VAT applies to PEZA and SBMA locators and to registered exporters, so if you are inside an economic zone tell us at RFQ stage and we will quote it correctly the first time rather than reissuing. Include in your RFQ the delivery site address, whether the site has crane or forklift access, your required delivery window, and your BIR registration status. Those four items are what usually cause a requote, and giving them upfront keeps the quote firm.

Certification, warranty, and after-sales support

The equipment we supply is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management systems at the factory level, and units in our range are TUV SUD tested. The electrical scope, meaning the VFD panels, starters, and motor control centres, carries CE marking. Where a project also involves pressure vessels we can supply to ASME where applicable, and where material handling equipment such as scissor lifts is part of the same site package, those carry IPAF. We are explicit about scope: certifications attach to specific supplied equipment lines, not blanket to everything in a quotation, and your quote will state which mark applies to which line item. Warranty and after-sales are handled locally in the Philippines rather than being referred back to the origin factory, which is the main practical reason to buy an imported unit through a local ventilation supplier instead of importing it yourself. That means spares, replacement motors, and technical support are sourced through us on a domestic timeline. We also supply water treatment for cooling tower loops, because scale and biological fouling are the fastest way to lose capacity on an evaporative unit in a tropical climate, and a tower running fouled will underperform its nameplate no matter how well it was sized.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Do you supply ventilation equipment outside Metro Manila?

Yes. JOHOB Hardware Trading delivers nationwide across the Philippines, covering NCR, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including locators inside the PEZA, SBMA, and Clark economic zones. Delivery coordination is part of the quote, so tell us the site address and whether the location has crane or forklift access when you send your RFQ.

2

How much does a roof ventilator or cooling tower cost in the Philippines?

We do not publish prices. Ventilation equipment is quoted per project because throat size, motor rating, static pressure, material, and coating all change the figure materially. Send us your building volume, roof pitch, heat load, and target air change rate and we will return a quotation. We respond to RFQs within 1 business day, with VAT treatment stated explicitly: 12% VAT for VAT-registered buyers, or Zero-VAT for PEZA and SBMA locators and registered exporters.

3

What is the lead time on ventilation equipment?

Standard lead time is 21 to 35 days for ex-stock items and 45 to 90 days for made-to-order units, measured from confirmed order. Roof ventilators in our stocked throat sizes of 500mm, 600mm, and 750mm normally fall in the ex-stock band. Made-to-order applies when throat size, motor rating, material, or coating sits outside what we hold.

4

Can you supply Zero-VAT to a PEZA or SBMA locator?

Yes. Zero-VAT applies to PEZA and SBMA locators and to registered exporters. Standard 12% VAT applies to other VAT-registered buyers. Flag your zone registration status when you send the RFQ so the quotation is issued with the correct treatment the first time.

5

Can you supply the fan control panel as well as the fan?

Yes. We supply VFD panels, star-delta starters, and full motor control centres alongside the ventilation equipment. Panels are built by Chutian using Inovance variable frequency drives, and the electrical scope we supply carries CE marking. Send your single line diagram and motor schedule with the RFQ and we will quote both together.

6

Is the equipment certified, and who handles warranty?

Equipment is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management systems at factory level, and units in our range are TUV SUD tested. Electrical scope carries CE marking. Certifications attach to specific supplied lines rather than blanket to a full quotation. Warranty and after-sales are handled locally in the Philippines rather than referred back to the origin factory.
