Ventilation Supplier Philippines: Roof Ventilators, Cooling Towers, AHUs and Fan Control Panels
Nationwide ventilation supplier serving commercial, industrial and institutional buyers across NCR, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and PEZA, SBMA and Clark locators, with local warranty and after sales support.
What ventilation equipment JOHOB supplies in the Philippines
JOHOB Hardware Trading is a Philippines based ventilation supplier serving commercial, industrial and institutional buyers nationwide. We supply wind driven roof ventilators (500mm, 600mm, 750mm), evaporative cooling towers, air handling units, industrial chillers, and the VFD, star delta and MCC panels that drive them.
Our ventilation scope covers the air side of a commercial or industrial building and the electrical controls that run it. On the passive side we supply wind driven roof ventilators in 500mm, 600mm and 750mm throat sizes, the standard specification for warehouse, factory and covered court roofs where the goal is continuous heat and fume extraction with no running cost. On the powered and process side we supply evaporative cooling towers in crossflow FRP and counterflow configurations, air handling units, industrial chillers, chilled water pumps, and the expansion tanks and air separators that complete a closed loop. Because ventilation equipment rarely arrives on site alone, we also supply the systems it connects to: booster, transfer and submersible pumping sets, VFD duplex control panels, stainless steel flexible hose, and ball and gate valves for the wet side connections. Buyers dealing with a single supplier across the air side, the water side and the panels avoid the coordination gap that shows up on site when the fan supplier, the pump supplier and the panel builder each specified to a different assumption. Equipment is sourced from ISO 9001 certified partner factories and is delivered with local warranty and after sales support rather than a factory warranty a buyer has to chase overseas. Pricing is quote based on every line, since throat size, material, motor rating and site conditions all move the number. The full range lives in our commercial HVAC and ventilation equipment category, with tower specifications on the industrial cooling towers product page and a dedicated industrial cooling tower supplier Philippines page for process cooling duties.
Choosing between wind driven roof ventilators and powered extraction
The first question on most ventilation enquiries is whether a wind driven roof ventilator is enough or whether the facility needs powered extraction. Wind driven ventilators work on two effects at once: the pressure differential created by wind across the turbine, and the stack effect created by hot air rising inside the building. They draw no power, need no wiring, and have no running cost, which makes them the efficient answer for high bay warehouses, production floors and covered structures where the load is accumulated heat rather than a specific contaminant. The trade off is that extraction rate varies with wind speed and internal temperature, so you cannot guarantee a fixed air change rate at any given hour. Powered extraction is the right specification when the design has to hold a defined air change rate regardless of weather, when the space is low ceilinged so stack effect is weak, when the extract has to be ducted to a discharge point away from occupied areas, or when the application is a kitchen, laundry, process room or plant room with a contaminant load rather than a heat load. Many facilities end up with both: wind driven units across the general roof area for background heat relief, and powered extraction serving the specific rooms that carry the load. We supply against your mechanical consultant's air change calculation. Where you do not have one yet, send us the floor area, ceiling height, occupancy and process description and we will scope the equipment list for your engineer to check.
Fan and motor control: VFD, star delta and MCC panels
Ventilation equipment is only as good as the control that drives it, and control panels are where Philippine projects most often lose time. We build and supply VFD panels, soft starter and direct online panels, star delta starters, and electrical controls and motor control centres. Variable frequency drives matter on ventilation and cooling tower duty for the same reason they matter on pumping duty: fan and pump power scales steeply with speed, so trimming a fan from full speed to the speed the load actually needs cuts energy draw far more than the speed reduction alone would suggest, while also removing the mechanical shock of across the line starting. The economics are covered in our VFD versus fixed speed selection guide. Star delta and MCC configurations remain the right answer where a facility runs fixed speed motors and needs coordinated protection, metering and isolation in one enclosure. Because we supply the panel and the driven equipment together, the motor data, cable sizing, overload settings and drive parameters are matched before anything ships, instead of being reconciled by an electrician on site. Panels carry CE marking. Our electrical scope also serves the pumping and pressure side of the same buildings, including VFD duplex panels for booster sets, so a facility can standardise on one panel supplier across ventilation, water and process equipment. Send us motor nameplate data, the required starting method and the enclosure environment, and we will quote the panel to match.
Facilities we equip: laundry, hotel, hospital, food and PEZA locators
Ventilation requirements differ sharply by facility type, and the equipment list should follow the vertical rather than a generic catalogue. Commercial laundries generate concentrated heat and moisture and need extraction sized to the dryer and ironer load, along with the boiler and condensate equipment feeding those machines. Hotels combine guest area comfort cooling served by AHUs and chillers with back of house kitchen and laundry extraction on a completely different duty. Hospitals carry the tightest requirements of any commercial building, since air handling has to respect pressure relationships between clinical areas, and equipment selection has to be documented for accreditation. Food processing plants need extraction that handles both heat and process contaminants without contaminating product, plus wash down tolerant materials on anything mounted in the production hall. Locators inside PEZA, SBMA and Clark zones face the additional layer of zone documentation and import processing on top of the technical specification. We serve all of these, along with institutional buyers, across NCR, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Where a project spans several systems at once, ventilation plus pumping plus storage plus electrical panels, consolidating them under one supplier removes the interface risk that surfaces when four vendors each deliver to their own assumption about the others.
Lead times, VAT treatment, and how RFQ pricing works
We quote rather than publish prices, because throat size, material specification, motor rating, panel configuration and delivery point each move the figure materially, and a published price would be wrong for most buyers. We respond to RFQs within one business day. Standard lead times run 21 to 35 days for ex stock items and 45 to 90 days for made to order equipment, and we state which band applies on every line of the quotation so your project schedule is built on the actual figure rather than an average. On tax, 12% VAT applies to VAT registered buyers in the normal case. PEZA and SBMA locators and registered exporters are entitled to zero VAT treatment, which we apply on presentation of your zone registration documents. That difference is worth confirming before you compare quotations, because a zone locator comparing a VAT inclusive quote against a zero rated one is not comparing like with like. To get a usable quotation quickly, send us the facility type and floor area, ceiling height, the required air change rate if your consultant has calculated one, the motor and electrical supply details, the delivery address, and your target site date. If you are still at design stage and do not have all of that, send what you have and we will come back with the questions that actually change the price rather than a generic form.
Certification, warranty and after sales support
Certification on ventilation and HVAC equipment matters at two points: when your mechanical or electrical consultant reviews the submittal, and when the building goes through occupancy or accreditation. The equipment we supply carries certification appropriate to its type. Manufacturing partners hold ISO 9001 quality management system certification. Electrical equipment including control panels carries CE marking. Pressure vessels carry ASME certification where applicable, and equipment lines are TUV SUD tested. Where a project also involves potable water storage, panels are WRAS certified. We provide the certificates with the submittal package rather than after the fact, so your consultant can approve on first review. On warranty, equipment is delivered with local warranty and after sales support in the Philippines. This is the practical difference between buying through a local supplier and buying direct: when a drive faults or a fan bearing fails in month eight, the claim is handled here rather than through correspondence overseas, and spares come from a party that already has your equipment schedule on file. We also supply water treatment for cooling tower loops, because scale and biological fouling are the fastest way to lose capacity on an evaporative unit in a tropical climate. To be clear about what we are and are not: we are an equipment supplier, not a licensed contractor, and installation contracting is carried out by your appointed contractor. We supply the equipment, the submittal documentation, the technical support during installation, and the after sales coverage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who supplies ventilation equipment in the Philippines outside Metro Manila?
JOHOB Hardware Trading delivers ventilation equipment nationwide, covering NCR, the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, including locators inside PEZA, SBMA and Clark zones. Delivery outside Metro Manila does not change the equipment specification or the warranty, and after sales support is handled locally in the Philippines rather than routed to a factory. Freight to the delivery point is quoted as a separate line so you can see exactly what the provincial delivery costs. Send us the delivery address with your RFQ and we will include it in the quotation.
How much does a wind driven roof ventilator cost in the Philippines?
We quote rather than publish prices. Roof ventilator pricing moves with throat size (we supply 500mm, 600mm and 750mm), material specification, base and flashing requirements, and the delivery point, so a published figure would be wrong for most buyers. We respond to RFQs within one business day with a line by line quotation showing the unit price, quantity, freight and applicable tax treatment. Send us the roof area, roof pitch, ceiling height and the number of units your consultant has specified. If you do not have a specification yet, send the building dimensions and we will scope it.
What are your lead times for ventilation and HVAC equipment?
Standard lead times are 21 to 35 days for ex stock items and 45 to 90 days for made to order equipment. Which band applies depends on the item: common roof ventilator sizes and standard panel configurations usually fall in the ex stock band, while cooling towers, air handling units and custom motor control centres built to your specific motor schedule fall in the made to order band. We state the applicable band on every line of the quotation rather than giving one blended figure, so you can sequence your site programme against real dates.
Do PEZA and SBMA locators pay VAT on ventilation equipment?
No. Registered PEZA and SBMA locators and registered exporters are entitled to zero VAT treatment, which we apply on presentation of your zone registration documents. Buyers outside those categories who are VAT registered pay the standard 12% VAT. This is worth confirming before you compare quotations, because a zone locator comparing a VAT inclusive quote from one supplier against a zero rated quote from another is comparing two different numbers. Tell us your zone registration status when you send the RFQ and we will issue the quotation with the correct treatment applied from the start.
Can you supply the control panel together with the fans and pumps?
Yes. We build and supply VFD panels, star delta starters, soft starter and direct online panels, and motor control centres, and we can supply them together with the driven equipment. The advantage is that motor data, overload settings, cable sizing and drive parameters are matched before anything ships, rather than being reconciled by an electrician on site. Panels carry CE marking. The same electrical scope covers the pumping side of the building, including VFD duplex panels for booster sets, so one facility can standardise on a single panel supplier.
What certifications and warranty come with the equipment?
Certification depends on the equipment type. Manufacturing partners hold ISO 9001 quality management system certification. Electrical equipment including control panels carries CE marking. Pressure vessels carry ASME certification where applicable, and equipment lines are TUV SUD tested. Where potable water storage is part of the same project, panels are WRAS certified. We supply the certificates as part of the submittal package so your consultant can approve on first review. All equipment is delivered with local warranty and after sales support in the Philippines, so claims and spares are handled here rather than overseas.
