Stainless Hose Supplier in the Philippines: SS304 Braided Flexible Hose

When a PH maintenance engineer or purchasing officer asks for stainless hose, they almost always mean a corrugated stainless steel inner tube wrapped in a stainless braid, terminated with threaded or flanged ends. It is the standard flexible connector used wherever rigid pipe cannot absorb movement: pump suction and discharge, boiler and steam headers, chiller and cooling tower tie-ins, water tank manifolds, and process skids that vibrate under load. The braid is what carries the pressure. The corrugated core is what allows the hose to flex, absorb thermal growth, and take out the small misalignments that show up between a pump flange and a fixed pipe run. We supply stainless hose from DN15 (1/2 inch) to DN100 (4 inch). Indicative flow capacity across that range runs from about 1 cubic metre per hour at DN15, to 8 at DN25, 30 at DN50, 65 at DN80, and 100 at DN100, which is enough to size a hose against a pump curve without guesswork. Standard construction is rated at 100 PSI (7 bar) working pressure with a 300 PSI (21 bar) burst figure, and we quote against PN10, PN16, and PN25 classes depending on the system. Standard temperature range is -20 degrees C to +150 degrees C. For saturated steam service we quote a steam-rated construction good to 200 degrees C, which is the minimum you should accept on any steam trap, condensate, or boiler blowdown application. Minimum bend radius is 5 times the nominal diameter, and typical design life in normal service is 5 to 7 years.

Two numbers decide most quotes: the nominal diameter and the pressure class. Send us those plus the medium (water, steam, condensate, chemical) and the ambient duty, and we can size the hose without a site visit. Undersizing to save cost is the most common and most expensive mistake we see on PH plant retrofits.

SS304 is our default and covers the majority of Philippine building and plant work: potable and domestic water, chilled water, hot water, condensate return, compressed air, and general utility duty. Move to SS316 when the medium or the environment carries chlorides. That is not an edge case in the Philippines. Coastal installations, seawater-adjacent plant rooms, cooling towers dosed with chlorine-based biocides, and food processing lines running caustic or chlorinated wash-downs all attack SS304 through pitting and stress corrosion cracking, usually at the braid before the core. SS316L, the low-carbon variant, is the specification to use where the assembly is welded or where sanitary and pharmaceutical hygiene standards apply. Our rule of thumb: if the facility is within sight of the sea, or the line carries anything chlorinated, quote SS316 and let the buyer decide. We supply both grades and will state the grade explicitly on the quotation so nothing is ambiguous at delivery.

We supply female BSP, male NPT, ANSI 150 RF flange, and tri-clamp sanitary ends. BSP is the most common on Philippine plumbing and building services work. NPT shows up on imported equipment skids and American-specified plant. Flanged ends are standard from DN50 upward and on any pump or boiler tie-in. Tri-clamp is for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical lines where the joint has to be broken and cleaned. Assembled lengths run from 300 mm to 6,000 mm, and longer runs are available as made-to-order. Mixed-end assemblies (flange one side, threaded the other) are routine and do not carry a separate engineering charge.
