Fire Pump Supplier Philippines: NFPA 20 Package Sourcing and Fire Reserve Tank Supply

Most fire pump enquiries start with a horsepower rating and a budget. NFPA 20 governs the installed system, not just the pump on the pallet. A fire pump is accepted against its capacity curve, tested at 0, 100, and 150 percent of capacity, not just at the duty point. Pressure at 150 percent of capacity determines whether the sprinkler system still has water at the most remote head, so a pump correct at duty point can still fail acceptance. NFPA 20 also expects a separate jockey pump for pressure maintenance, so small leaks and thermal drift do not start the main pump. The Authority Having Jurisdiction also sets what documentation and listings it will accept, shaped by BFP review, the National Building Code, and the National Standard Plumbing Code. Taller buildings often specify both, so loss of power does not remove fire protection. Split case suits larger flows, end suction suits smaller duties, vertical in line saves floor area, and vertical turbine lifts from a flooded suction below the pump floor. Every configuration needs a jockey pump, holding pressure against leakage so the main pump starts on genuine demand. Fire protection is one area where an overstated claim creates real liability. Pricing is quote based, since flow, pressure, tank capacity, panel build, and pipework scope move the figure between similar-looking projects. Standard lead times run 21 to 35 days for ex stock items and 45 to 90 days for made to order equipment, which for fire reserve tanks and custom control panels is the band you should plan against. We respond to requests for quotation within 1 business day. 12 percent VAT applies to VAT registered buyers; PEZA and SBMA locators and exporters are zero-VAT, a swing that changes bid comparisons if suppliers quote differently.
