Commercial Water Infrastructure Supplier in the Philippines: Pumps, Tanks, and Controls

Pumping, storage, panels, steam, piping, and fire reserve in one document, with named manufacturers, stated lead times, and PEZA and SBMA zero-VAT terms.

What a commercial water infrastructure supplier has to cover

Buyers who search for a commercial water infrastructure supplier in the Philippines are rarely buying a single item. A hotel retrofit needs a booster set, storage capacity, a fire reserve tank, and a control panel that holds pressure across every floor. A food processing plant needs transfer pumps, stainless steel flexible hose, valves, and a steam boiler feeding the process line. A PEZA locator needs all of that plus documentation the ecozone will accept. JOHOB Hardware Trading supplies across that whole scope.

Our categories cover pumping and pressure systems, water storage in FRP, GRP, hot dip galvanized, and stainless modular formats, electrical panels, steam and boiler systems including hot water and condensate, piping, fittings and accessories, material handling, industrial processing lines, and fire protection. Sourcing runs through Philippine and China factories, so one purchase order covers equipment from several origins and still lands with a single local warranty and one after sales contact. That matters when a project stalls because two vendors point at each other. Pricing is quote based, since scope, head, flow, and site conditions change the number more than the model name.

Pumping and pressure systems: booster, transfer, and submersible

Pumping is the core of most commercial water infrastructure jobs, and it is where sizing errors cost the most. We supply booster sets, transfer pumps, and submersible pumps, together with the VFD duplex control panels that sequence them. Established brands include Grundfos, DAB, and Speroni. Where budget or delivery drives the decision, CDL supplies engineered vertical multistage pumps at a different price band for the same duty points.

Duplex configuration matters for buildings that cannot lose water pressure: two pumps alternate on a lead lag schedule so runtime is shared. VFD control trims speed to demand instead of cycling on and off, reducing water hammer and motor starts per day. For sizing we work from fixture unit counts and static head per the National Plumbing Code, not a guess at horsepower. Send floor count, fixture schedule, and tank elevation for a duty point with the pump curve marked, per our booster pump sizing guide.

Water storage and fire reserve tanks, supplied through TankSmith

Water storage is supplied under TankSmith, our sister brand for modular tank turnkey installation, covering FRP and GRP panel tanks, hot dip galvanized tanks, and stainless steel tanks, in the bolted modular format carried into a basement or lifted to a roof deck in panels and assembled on site. Panels are sourced from partner factories, including Dezhou Success Tanks as a modular tank OEM; we specify, source, import, deliver, and install them rather than manufacture them ourselves.

Panels used for potable service are supplied with WRAS certification, and manufacturer quality systems are ISO 9001. Fire protection is a separate line: fire reserve tanks and sprinkler kits are quoted against the reserve volume required, and it is worth separating domestic and fire reserve volumes early, since combining them changes the tank footprint and pump room layout. Where a building only needs pumps or only needs storage, we quote the part you need. Regulatory context is in our Philippines water tank compliance requirements guide.

Electrical panels and controls that run the system

A pump is only as reliable as the panel in front of it. We supply VFD panels, soft starter panels, star delta starters, and motor control centers, built by Chutian using Inovance variable frequency drives, with CE marking on the electrical build. We quote panels alongside pumps rather than leaving them to the electrical contractor because the two have to agree: drive rating against motor full load current, cable sizing against distance to the pump room, transducer range against design pressure, and alarm contacts landed somewhere the building engineer will see them. When those decisions are split across two suppliers, the gap usually shows up at commissioning.

A duplex panel should arrive with lead lag alternation set, dry run protection wired to a level probe or float, and phase failure and reversal protection active, since a three phase pump running backwards on a swapped phase can go unnoticed until the flow numbers stop adding up. Specify the incoming supply voltage and phase, the motor kW, and whether the panel sits indoors or in a wet pump room. If a consultant has already issued a control philosophy, send it and we will quote against it line by line.

Certifications, documentation, and what we do not claim

Certification claims should be specific about what is certified. On the equipment we supply: tank panels carry WRAS certification, manufacturer quality systems are ISO 9001, selected equipment is TUV SUD tested, electrical panels carry CE marking, pressure vessels carry ASME certification where applicable, and scissor lifts are supplied to IPAF standards. JOHOB Hardware Trading is an equipment supplier and is not a PCAB accredited contractor. Where a project requires a licensed contractor for installation, that contractor is engaged separately, and we supply the equipment, submittals, and installation coordination.

What you receive is the document pack a consultant or building official will ask for: material certificates, pump curves with the duty point marked, panel schematics and bill of materials, dimensional drawings, and written warranty terms. Getting these into the submittal early avoids the common delay where equipment sits at site waiting for approval. Ask for the document list at RFQ stage.

Nationwide coverage, PEZA and SBMA terms, and lead times

We deliver nationwide: NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including locators inside PEZA zones, Subic Bay Freeport, and Clark. Standard lead times are 21 to 35 days for ex stock items and 45 to 90 days for made to order equipment. Made to order applies to most modular tanks, custom panels, and larger pump sets built to a specific duty point. Tax treatment depends on registration: 12% VAT applies to VAT registered buyers, while PEZA and SBMA locators and exporters are invoiced at zero rated VAT against the usual supporting documents, raised at quotation stage rather than at invoicing.

Pricing is quote based across every category, since the same nominal pump can differ substantially depending on head, material, seal type, and panel specification. RFQs receive a response within 1 business day. Delivery to provincial sites, island destinations, and restricted access zones is quoted per site rather than at a flat rate, since barge, crane, and gate pass requirements vary. Tell us the delivery address and any access constraint and it goes into the quote.

How to send an RFQ and what comes back

The fastest RFQ carries enough information to size the equipment on the first pass. For pumping, send floor count, fixture schedule, tank elevation, and existing pump details if this is a replacement. For storage, send required capacity in cubic meters, whether the volume is domestic, fire reserve, or both, and whether the tank goes underground, at grade, or on a roof deck.

For panels, send motor kW and voltage. For steam, send steam capacity and the process it feeds, plus your VAT status, PEZA or SBMA locator status, and delivery address. What comes back is a line item quotation with model numbers, the duty point marked on the pump curve where pumps are involved, lead time stated per line, the certification and document pack, warranty terms, and delivery terms. Responses go out within 1 business day. The full range of industries we serve is on our industries page, and FRP water tank supply is covered in depth on its own page.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Do you supply complete water systems or only individual equipment?

Both. We quote single items and complete systems. Categories cover pumping and pressure systems, water storage (through our TankSmith sister brand), electrical panels, steam and boiler systems, piping and fittings, material handling, industrial processing, and fire protection. On a full package the pump, tank, panel, and piping are specified against the same duty point so the parts agree at commissioning. If you already have storage and only need a booster set, or already have pumps and only need a tank, we quote that portion instead. Pricing is quote based in every case, with no published unit prices.

2

How long does delivery take, and do you deliver outside Metro Manila?

Standard lead times are 21 to 35 days for ex stock items and 45 to 90 days for made to order equipment, counted from confirmed order. Made to order covers most modular tanks, custom control panels, and larger pump sets built to a specific duty point. Delivery is nationwide across NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including PEZA, SBMA, and Clark locators. Provincial and island deliveries are quoted per site because barge, crane, and access requirements differ. Confirm your delivery address and any access constraint at RFQ stage so transport sits inside the quote.

3

Are you zero rated for VAT if we are a PEZA or SBMA locator?

Yes. 12% VAT applies to VAT registered buyers in the ordinary case, and PEZA and SBMA locators and exporters are invoiced at zero rated VAT against the usual supporting documents. Raise your registration status when you send the RFQ rather than at invoicing, so the quotation is issued on the correct tax basis from the start and the supporting paperwork is prepared alongside it. We deliver into PEZA zones, Subic Bay Freeport, and Clark. If you are unsure of your status, send your registration certificate with the RFQ and we will quote both treatments.

4

Which pump brands do you supply, and can you match a specified brand?

We supply Grundfos, DAB, and Speroni where the specification names an established brand, and CDL engineered vertical multistage pumps where duty point and delivery matter more than the badge. Control panels are Chutian builds using Inovance variable frequency drives. If your consultant has specified a brand, send the specification and we will quote it directly, plus an alternate at the same duty point so procurement can compare. Where we propose an alternate, the pump curve with the duty point marked is included, so the substitution can be checked rather than taken on trust.

5

Are you a PCAB licensed contractor?

No. JOHOB Hardware Trading is an equipment supplier, not an accredited contractor, and we do not claim PCAB accreditation. Where a project requires a licensed contractor for the installation scope, that contractor is engaged separately, and we supply the equipment, the technical submittals, and installation coordination. Modular tank turnkey installation runs through our TankSmith sister brand. On the equipment side we provide the document pack needed for approval (material certificates, pump curves, panel schematics, dimensional drawings, warranty terms) with local warranty and after sales support on everything we supply.

6

What certifications come with the equipment you supply?

Certification sits on the equipment and its manufacturers rather than on us as a trading company. Tank panels carry WRAS certification, manufacturer quality systems are ISO 9001, selected equipment is TUV SUD tested, electrical panels and material handling equipment carry CE marking, pressure vessels carry ASME certification where applicable, and scissor lifts are supplied to IPAF standards. Which of these applies depends on the specific model quoted, so ask for the document list at RFQ stage and we will confirm the certificates that ship with your line items instead of giving a general statement about the brand.
